A stlylish, slick and enthusiastic action movie with charisma and balls, Charlie’s Angels makes up for a light fluffy plot with some high quality action sequences and a fast relentless pace.

Shrek
Fantasically funny computer animated movie with excellent performances, witty dialog and something for kids and adults alike.
Road Trip
A solid comedy in the American Pie mold with some memorable performances and some serious laugh out loud moments.
Rush Hour
A typical buddy-cop movie for fans of Jackie Chan or Chris Tucker (are there any?) only.
Aliens (Special Edition)
The additional footage extends and enhances what is already a genre-defining action sci-fi flick and although these days the movie looks dated it’s impossible to deny the impact it had on subsequent films, giving it a deserved place in movie history.
Planet of the Apes
With a slow and linear story this 2001 version was generally disappointing and the ending left me frustrated and unsatisfied.
A Knight’s Tale
Top notch dialog and characters lifts this otherwise simple story out of the average and into the superb with the unforgettable performances from Paul Bettany (Chaucer) and Alan Tudyk (Wat) simply providing icing on the cake.
X-Men
By spending too long introducing the characters, X-Men misses the mark and goes from what could have been a superb action movie to what is basically an average bland and flawed action movie.
Pitch Black
An exciting and thrilling movie with enough scares to keep you on the edge of your seat and enough sarcastic banter to keep the most bitter of movie fans engaged, well worth watching.
American Pie 2
More of the same, American Pie 2 doesn’t pretend to be anything other than American Pie all over again, not quite as funny, not quite as cute, but worth seeing and with enough laugh-out-loud moments to help you forget your real life.
