A narcissistic film remeniscent of The Blues Brothers, Wayne’s World and Bill & Ted that manages to be funny, interesting and worth watching if you’ve enjoyed Smith’s previous stuff.

Dogma
A slow start and a much more serious underlying message set this Kevin Smith movie apart of the his previous fair, but it delivers in the end.
Mallrats
Kevin Smith delivers a hilarious homage to the John Hughes / John Landis late 70’s and early 80’s era of film making and adds his own generous touch of quality.
Chasing Amy
An intelligent and emotional love story which delivers an incisive and revealing look at relationships, gender choice and our sexual history without pandering to the usual stereotypes or insulting the viewer.
Pan’s Labyrinth
An excellent and compelling dual story of rebellion in Fascist Spain at the end of the second World War and a young girl’s faerie tale escapism in which you must decide to believe or not.
The Incredibles
Most excellent animated comedy superhero movie, highly recommended.
Deja Vu
Deja Vu keeps to a tight script and a simple premise to bring a solid story about time-travel to life in a near-believable way delivering an entertaining and enjoyable experience.
Clerks
A very low budget (and black and white) movie which plays more like a collection of related sketches than a full movie story, Clerks is funny none-the-less and worth the effort of watching.
Clerks II
Funny, witty, engaging and thoroughly enjoyable.
Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels
This witty and well paced film keeps you engaged from start to finish and delivers interesting characters, dialog and good black-comic moments.
