Although Transporter 2 fails to live up to the simple charm of the first film, it still manages to keep its head above water and deliver a solid all round piece of action entertainment.

The Transporter
Surprisingly entertaining action movie staring the ever-charming Jason Statham, with good supporting performances well scripted action sequences and enough humour to cover the gaps.
Clue
The frantic pace of this funny and endearing movie starts after the first murder and doesn’t let up until the different endings have been played out.
Young Frankenstein
Everything you expect from a Mel Brooks movie from the 70’s, anarchy, laughs, wit, parody and plot holes the size of a crater that you just don’t care about (and Gene Wilder, naturally).
Shaun of the Dead
This classic British comic take on zombie survival movies hits all the right spots with some solid belly laughs, some pretty inciteful parody and all round excellent acting.
Hitman
At best this is an average assassin action movie, at worst it’s derivative tripe, but it manages to hold its head above water just enough to entertain for 90 minutes.
Forgetting Sarah Marshall
A good quality romantic comedy which avoids the pitfalls of lower quality fair, provides some decent laughs, some touching moments and plenty of full frontal male nudity.
Weird Science
A classic taste of the 80’s with huge hair, massive shoulders, naive nerds, hot women and crazy parties, Weird Science stands up pretty well even today.
Batman Begins
Bale’s grating gravel voice is the only real negative point of this super Batman reboot, it’s silly crazy and brilliantly envisioned.
Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life
An above average action adventure which Jolie keeps moving when the plot and other characters begin to drag, The Cradle of Life is inconsistent but fun.
