A very high quality movie that doesn’t fit well in any single genre, brings together a superb cast, gives them a superb script, and ultimately lets you down at the end.

Wing Commander
Low budget sci-fi movie exhibiting all the floors you come to expect from that genre including but not limited to terrible dialog, no characterisation, bad effects and a limited storyline.
AVPR: Aliens vs Predator – Requiem
Terrible movie shot in terrible lighting with terrible post-production resulting in not being able to see anything on screen or care about any of the characters.
Ronin
A polished, slick and highly entertaining post-cold war thriller with solid performances from everyone in the cast, resulting in a very enjoyable if not overly original movie.
Heat
Heat is overly long, unrealistic and obviously (re-)designed to provide a platform for Pacino and De Niro to square off against each other, resulting in a disappointing overall experience despite the obvious underlying technical quality of this production.
Jumper
A disspointingly vacant movie which should be compressed into 20 minutes and turned into the start of a much better action flick.
Iron Man
Totally complete sci-fi comic book action movie with an excellent performance from Downey supported by a simple but solid script, superb effects and brilliant score.
Charlie’s Angels
A stlylish, slick and enthusiastic action movie with charisma and balls, Charlie’s Angels makes up for a light fluffy plot with some high quality action sequences and a fast relentless pace.
Shrek
Fantasically funny computer animated movie with excellent performances, witty dialog and something for kids and adults alike.
Road Trip
A solid comedy in the American Pie mold with some memorable performances and some serious laugh out loud moments.
